Region Insights Report

Design + Front-end Development + Email

 

Foureyes needed a landing page for their auto dealership region insights report. This is a monthly report that shows the previous month’s sales activity and insights. It is sent via email with a quick preview, and then links to the full report online. I designed both the email and the online report landing page and coded the front-end as well.

This is one email I designed and developed to showcase key takeaways from the full report. The biggest challenge was figuring out which data points to pull and how to phrase them in a way that was easy to understand. I worked with a project manager through many iterations as we discussed what visuals worked, how much data to show, and what was the most effective way to get the point across.

After getting approval on a final design, I coded the email as well. The biggest challenge with email is getting it to look good in Outlook. I learned a lot about what kind of styling is compatible with Outlook and how to avoid design issues.

We went through a lot of iterations—some focused on presenting actionable insights, others focused on visualizing the data, while others focused on getting a click through to the report.
