Papé

Design + Front-End Development

I was the lead designer for any Papé related work for most of my time at Adpearance. We went through multiple phases of redesigning the website, as well as bringing their corporate site onto the same platform as their operating company sites. I created a design that would align the corporate site with the existing sites. I worked with a developer to complete the front-end development for each redesign.

We began by creating a site map for the new navigation structure.

Then I provided the client with a few homepage mocks for them to decide which visual direction they wanted to go.

The full-width design is centered around using a lot of imagery and the brand colors to break up the monotony of one paragraph after another. The block grid layout is repeated throughout the site, and I coded it to be responsive on all screen sizes.

I worked on Papé on almost a daily basis—designing landing pages or implementing navigation updates, for example. The operating company websites are all built using the same custom theme in a proprietary CMS. When a design request came in, we would need to consider how it could affect each site. We discussed with the dev team whether we needed to create a new module that would be reusable on all the sites, or a one-off landing page for a specific use. To the right are links to all the operating company websites.
